Our programs are tailored to meet the specific needs and desired outcomes of you and your organization. Before determining the details of any program, we work with you to identify the team challenges, needs and gaps so we can be sure the program will deliver on its objectives.

Programs often include the use of assessment tools to help uncover significant cultural or behavioral issues and provide a framework for discussing key issues and challenges, strengthen communication, build camaraderie, and improve understanding among participants.

Team Development Programs

Teams achieve more when members know how to work with each other.  People have different ways of relating with others and approaching tasks that come naturally to them. Some people like to take charge. Some feel more comfortable in a supporting role. Others are people-oriented super communicators. Finally there are the data-oriented task-masters. Everyone has a blend of these behavioral styles, but usually one or two are dominant. Any of these types can be great leaders and contributors. But each style has predictable preferences, challenges and points of friction. People are also motivated by a different blend of motivators or driving forces. For example, some people love to challenge the status quo. Others are focused on getting a return on their investment.

Our Team Development program gives members a deep dive into their own unique behavioral profile and they learn how to recognize and work with all different types. The workshop includes a talent assessment for each participant, customized learning and group coaching. The result is that the members build trust, navigate friction and develop the skills to work more effectively together.

Benefits include:

  • Improved team dynamics that lead to more effective and efficient meetings and processes

  • Greater understanding of the strengths and challenges of the team members, as well as the group as a whole

  • Enhanced self-knowledge and awareness of one’s own skill gaps, triggers, and time wasters

  • Better communication between team members, as well as with others outside of the team

  • Increased ability to hold difficult conversations in an effective manner

  • Better alignment on processes and goals

In our one-on-one session, Jennifer quickly zeroed in on my management style, identifying both my strengths and areas for development. Then, in the group session, she helped us understand how we could capitalize on our strengths as a team and areas we needed to watch. Our team is working more effectively than ever before, like a 5-star restaurant.

Personal Resilience Training

This workshop teaches participants valuable tools for rebounding from stress and managing their emotional state so they can perform optimally throughout the day. Biofeedback tools are used to demonstrate the power of their internal state to impact their physical body, and enable them to see first-hand the positive impact of embracing small, positive changes.

Benefits to participants include:

  • Increased resilience – ability to prepare for, and recoup from challenge

  • Stress reduction, with associated physiological improvements (e.g., blood pressure, muscle tension)

  • Reduced fatigue and burnout

  • Increased brain clarity, focus, attention span, accuracy and learning ability

  • Improved decision‐making and reduced decision fatigue

Presentation Skills Upleveling

This hands-on program helps your team improve the day-to-day presentations they make in the business environment, whether large formal presentations, critical one-on-one presentations to decision-makers, or routine communications with their teams and peers. Participants routinely say the coaching and training is a lot more fun than they anticipated, and the ultimate result is that team meetings and presentations are more on-point, less boring, and much more enjoyable for both the audience and the presenter.

Our presentation training is unique in that it addresses not only the delivery skills of the speaker, but also the organization and content of the presentation itself.

Small groups are an ideal environment in which to improve and practice new presentation techniques. Participants learn how to constructively critique and support each other, thereby becoming valuable peer coaches for each other.

Video recording and playback is used extensively. Each participant receives a copy of the Winn Performance Partners Powerful Presentation Skills handbook for reference.
